State-of-the-art tools such as 3D scanning and CMM are utilized in reverse engineering both internally and with our offshore vendors. Our CMM and CAM software are capable of measuring to two microns.
We can perform failure analysis, hardness testing, MPT, and surface finish testing. Some NDT tools we use are:
- Hardness testers
- Surface testers
- Various height, bore, pin, and custom gauges
Our software capabilities include:
- Master Cam X-9
- AutoCad Inventor 2016 (Can read/write Pro-E and Catia)
Model Research & Development Process
We work closely with our customers to ensure that products are precisely designed and manufactured to your specifications. We collaborate with you to assess how a component is to be ultimately used and engineer the product to meet the end application.
During the research and development process our specialists will:
- Identify components to be re-engineered or transitioned to the most suitable process
- Develop a 3D rendering
- Commission tooling and patterns to be built
- Begin the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
Following first article sample approval and establishment of quality assurance procedures for production, we begin mass production of
the component. We then arrange logistics and final delivery according to the customer requirements.
